Situated in the Runaway Bay Marina, Runaway Bay Marine Service is a fully equipped and factory trained service centre with a dedicated team of professionals who love all things boating!
We are currently looking for an experienced Marine Technician to join our growing workshop in Runaway Bay. Our ideal applicant will have relevant qualifications with at least 3 years’ experience in a senior mechanical role.
Ideally, you will have gained some of this experience working with Honda Outboards, Mercruiser and Volvo Penta Petrol Sterndrives.
Essential skills and abilities:
*Relevant trade qualifications as a Marine Technician
*String servicing and repair skills
*The ability to work within a team environment and a willingness to share and learn
*Have strong presentation and good work ethics
*Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to clients
Highly regarded skills:
*Experience with engine fit-ups (Beneficial but not essential)
*The ability to work unsupervised and efficiently
*Current holder of Forklift license
*Current holder of Car and Boat Licenses
*Up-to-date Factory trained qualifications

Salary: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
